We rent out various studios in our cozy farmhouse on the outskirts of Middelburg. Come and enjoy it along with us!

The rooms

‘t Zeeuwse licht has several rooms; two are located on the ground floor and four on the first floor. The rooms downstairs have their own patios. Parking is free on site; there is a charging point for electric cars. We have bicycles available for our guests, free of charge.

Room 1
This room is located on the ground floor at the back of the house, with a separate entrance and private patio. There is a kitchenette with coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet in the room. Towels, shampoo, soap and toiletpaper provided. Grab bars in toilet and shower. Suitable for people with mobility problems, but not necessarily for wheelchairs due to limited space.

Room 2
This room is located on the ground floor at the back of the house, with a separate entrance and private patio. Room 4

Room 5
Nice spacious room on the first floor. This split-level room has a raised seating area with a sofa bed. There is a kitchenette with coffee maker, kettle, and mini fridge. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. Towels, shampoo, soap and toiletpaper provided. The bed is located in the lower part. 

Room 6
Small room on the first floor. There is a kitchenette with coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. Towels, shampoo, soap and toiletpaper provided. Two beds and sofa bed. 

Groups

We have several rooms where we can host families and small groups.
There are twelve beds and four sofa beds. Two rooms are located on the ground floor and four on the first floor. The rooms downstairs have their own patios. Parking is on site; there is also a charging point for electric cars. We have bicycles available for our guests, free of charge. Towels, shampoo, soap and toiletpaper provided. You can use the group room, which includes a fully furnished kitchen (with towels, garbage bags etc). There are board games, a “sjoelbak” (traditional Dutch game) and an air hockey table. Furthermore, we have some highchairs, two baby beds and a lot of kids toys and games for older kids and grown-ups. You can use the patio and barbecue outside. We live in the right part of the house and are often present and available for questions. Of course we respect the privacy of our guests.  It is not allowed to place your own tent /caravan/motorhome) in the yard,  we refer you to the camping site behind our house.

Information about your stay

Arrivals and departures
We have no fixed arrival and departure days: you can communicate your preferences and we will look together at what is possible. We will do our best to meet your needs.  Arrival time: Between 4-7 PM, departure before 10:00 AM.


Outdoor space
Guests can use the patio at the front of the house and some rooms have a private patio adjacent to the room.

Contact with our guests
We live in the right part of the house and are often present and available for questions. Of course we respect the privacy of our guests.

Neighbourhood
We live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end road that turns into a bike path.

Accessibility
Middelburg’s train station is 2 km. from our home (a half hour walk).

Parking
There’s free parking on site, including a charging point for electric cars.

House Rules
There may be other guests, so please be considerate of one another and do not be too noisy. No  smoking inside and no pets allowed.

Price on request. Usually around € 550,- per night,  depending on the time of year. In that case there will be no other guests.

If you come with a group of 6 persons for example, it is usually cheaper to hire three separate rooms. In that case there might be other guests.

Price includes 
Bed linen, towels, tourist tax: 2,85 p.p.p.n

Breakfast
Please note we do not serve breakfast.

There is also a bigger kitchen and dining-room in the house where u can cook and eat with more persons for example when u arrive as a group. The room given to us was clean and cosy with its own shower room with toilet and a kitchenette with all the basic appliances that could be needed.
